Couple Shamed Online For Their 'Pathetic' Wedding Meal
A newly married couple is being shamed on a 'wedding shaming group' on Facebook because of the food they served after the ceremony.
One of the obviously disgruntled guests posted alleged photos of the catering at this wedding which included: slices of 'plastic cheese' on a tray, cut up vegetables and fruit. (some items still have the stickers on the skin)
The guest captioned the photo, "A wedding feast for your eyes,” and labelling the spread "pathetic."
Quite the spread. https://t.co/PjO1XdIV5v— Metro Lifestyle (@MetroUK_Life) April 13, 2019
There were a few comments of people just as appalled as the guest saying, "This makes more sense for toddlers than a wedding, in my humble opinion.”
Another one commenting that it looked more "like a catering spread for work - a low budget one.”
Of course, some people defended the couple saying maybe that was all they could afford. We all know how expensive weddings can get!!
Popular wedding website, The Knot’s released 2017 spending numbers in the United States and found that some couples can spend an average of $33,391 on their wedding, with $9,520 of that spent on catering alone!
Crappy food or not...don't complain about it on Facebook. Sheesh!
