Chris Cornell, Greta Van Fleet score Grammy Awards

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards took place this past Sunday, Feb. 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The awards gala celebrates achievements in the music industry.

As always, the spectacle portion of the Grammys are overrun with pop music acts. That said, several rock music acts also received some important nods at this year's celebrations.

Frankenmuth, Michigan's Greta Van Fleet picked up a Grammy for Best Rock Album for From The Fires. Meanwhile, the late Chris Cornell was awarded Best Rock Performance for "When Bad Does Good".

Also of note, the Red Hot Chili Peppers teamed up with rapper Post Malone for a rendition of "Dark Necessities":
