  • The Steamboat to Fort Nelson Relay

    Alaska Highway - Fort Nelson
    The Steamboat to Fort Nelson Relay is a go for April 28th. Participants will each run a 5km stretch of highway between Steamboat and Fort Nelson. The race is 80km long and participants will be dropped off at various points between and run towards Fort Nelson. Participants will need to find sponsors to donate $10 per kilometer. Minimum buy in is 5km and max is 10km. Race runs from 8:30am to 11am. Support vehicles will follow for safety. All proceeds from the run will go to Takashis Animal Shelter.     Art Fraser Park - Fort Nelson
    The Annual Strongman/Strongwoman event on May 12th at 10am at the Art Fraser Park. This is a community event and free to watch. There will be people pulling cars, flipping tires, and moving lots of really heavy things! There are various mens and ladies divisions. $50 fee to enter the competition.
