Maple trees are being tapped all over Simcoe County and beyond, as the Maple Syrup season gets underway. There are no shortage of operations that you can observe, and samples to be had, with the peak of the season just a few weeks away.
One of the more popular Maple Syrup operators in this region, is Shaw's.

Some of the other operators you may want to check out include McCutcheon's Maple Syrup on the 9th line near Coldwater.
Hewitts, know for their corn, also has an operation in Muskoka, as well as on Telford Line Severn. In Tiny, you can head to Windlee Maple Syrup at 10 Baseline Rd. N., or Desroches on Cedar Point Rd.
In Tay, you'll want to check out Queen of Maple.
In Coldwater, Mapleherb is located on Balkwill Line, and Backwoods Maple Syrup is on Anderson Line. Furter south, you'll find Maple Heights Farms on the 5th line of Innisfil, and Breedon's Maple Syrup on concession 3 of Adjala-Tosorontio.
