  • Sunday Concerts in the Park

    We are very pleased to announce another great season of Sunday evening concerts on our charming Hardy Park Band Stand. This coming summer, there will be 10 concerts in total making up our Sunday in the Park Series. We will begin on June 17th and will conclude the series on August 26th. The June/July concerts will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the August concerts will begin at 6:30. As in the past, our rain venue will be the St. John’s United Stage located at 32 Park Street in beautiful downtown Brockville. There is no admission to the concerts but we do give audience members a chance to make a free will offering which goes to a local, registered charity of the performer’s choice. June 17 – Maple Leaf Brass Band – A Sunday in the Park favourite, the band is from Ottawa and conducted by David Druce.

    The Elizabethtown-Kitley Library presents Honeybees - an in depth look at beekeeping and the plight of the honeybee. Presentation by Colleen O'Connell, Apiarist from Maitland Garden of Hope Tuesday June 19th at 6:30- pm at the Main Library 4103 Highway 29 at Spring Valley. Entrance is free (donations accepted)
  • Island Breakfast

    Please join us on Refugee Island, Brockville on Wednesday June 20th to Saturday June 23rd, 2018 for the 5th Annual Island Breakfast. Refugee Island is located on the St. Lawrence River just a short boat ride from St. Lawrence Park in Brockville. It is a beautiful island that is available for boaters to picnic on in the summer season. Proceeds from this annual event will go towards island enhancements with the first project being to build a permanent picnic pavilion on Refugee Island. Breakfast will be served on the island between 8:00am and 10:00am with free shuttle boats running from St. Lawrence Park to take people to the island starting at 7:30am With the purchase of your ticket you will receive: a delicious breakfast on Refugee Island including: coffee, tea, juice, toast, eggs, bacon and ham, baked beans, pancakes, pure, locally produced, maple syrup, fresh, locally grown, strawberries Ticket Prices: Adults $12 in advance, $15 at the dock Children* (10 and under) $6 in advance; $8 at the dock
