Eminem Regrets Using Gay Slur

Eminem admitted this week he shouldn’t have used a gay slur in a rap about Tyler, the Creator.

“The word that I called him on that song was one of the things where I felt like this might be too far,” the rap icon said in an interview with Sway.

“Because in my quest to hurt him, I realize that I was hurting a lot of other people by saying it.

“It was one of the things that I kept going back to and going ‘I don’t feel right with this.’”

Eminem came under fire for calling Tyler a “f****t” on his Kamikaze track “Fall.”

Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons tweeted: “It’s never ok to say a word that is filled with hate. I don’t care what year you were born in or what meaning it has to you. If it contributes to hate and bigotry then it is hateful. period. there is never an ok time to say the word fa**ot. I don’t care who you are."

He explained he was angry at Tyler for taking a shot at his fans on Twitter and dissing his collaboration with Beyoncé, “Walk on Water.”

“I could come across as being very petty, but at a certain time, someone has their breaking point,” Eminem said.

He added that Tyler is “super charismatic” and that he “loved his energy.”
