2nd Annual Huntington Disease Walk a Success in Brockville
A local charity walk to raise money for an incurable disease was an improved success the second time around.
The second annual Juvenile Huntington Disease Walk took place in Brockville on Sunday (August 20th), drawing in well over 100 people which was up from about 60 people in it's first year.
The higher attendance led to a bigger fundraising total as well with over $3500 raised this weekend, compared to $3300 last year.
Huntington's disease is an inherited brain disorder that is degenerative over time.
Proceeds from the walk will go toward research for a cure and support affected families.
