Aquatarium Exceeds Projections in First Year
The first year for Brockville's Aquatarium went better than anyone could have hoped
The facility blew away attendence projections for its first 10 months (March to December) gathering 70,623 visitors against a predicted 56,690.
The Aquatarium had also planned for a $117,000 deficit after it's first year, but instead turned a profit of $112,000.
The facility also reached it's fundraising goal of $4 million, which will go towards paying the $25.5 million cost of the Aquatarium.
