Braves Head Coach Named Coach Of The Year
The Central Canada Hockey League has named Brockville Braves Jesse Winchester Coach of the Year.
It's the head coaches first season with the Braves after retiring from the NHL in 2014, having spent time with the Ottawa Senators, the Colorado Avalanche and the Florida Panthers.
Braves captain Andrew Jarvis said he deserves this award because he cares about his players and wants the best out of them.
“He’s done an unbelievable job with us. Always making us better in every situation even away from the rink," says Jarvis. "We’ve listened to him all year and we’ve bought in, he’s getting the coach of the year because he deserves it.”
The Cornwall native has lead the Braves to a 3rd place finish.
Isn't this beautiful? True friendship between the King of the Jungle and a mere human.
This distant star will offer quite a show when it goes supernova.
Look at him, snoring like there's no tomorrow. Not a care in the world!
