Brockville Police Nab Hit and Run Suspect
Brockville Police received some help from the public in order to catch a hit and run suspect
Cops received several 911 calls around 6pm Monday evening (June 5th) after a small silver Volkswagen lost control and smashed into a parked vehicle on Buell street.
Instead of leaving insurance info or calling police, the driver sped off at a high speed after causing significant damage to both vehicles.
Shortly after, police located the suspect vehicle in the southeast area of the city.
Officers arrested a local, 20-year-old man and charged him with dangerous driving and failing to remain.
Officers also believed alcohol was a factor, but the suspect refused to provide a breath sample, leading to an additional charge.
He was released on a promise to appear with a future court date.
Last month, telescopes detected an object traveling through the solar system that came from outside of it. It's already one its way out so it was a short visit.
These videos are not faked. Now, do they show you that one take that worked out of 50 tries? Yeah, probably!
That clicking sound as the wasps try to attack the camera... Just close the door and set fire to the whole thing, man!
