Brockville's New Year's Baby Myles Ahead
Brockville's New Year's baby didn't wait long past the stroke of midnight to make his debut.
Myles Kreeft was born on Tuesday morning at 1:08am, at 6lbs 12oz.
Baby, and mom, Cassandra Parks, 23, along with dad Andrew Kreeft, 22, are doing great.
"He's a happy little camper, sleeping and full of life in his face," says Cassandra.
Her second child, Myles was a bit late making his debut.
"He was due after the day after Christmas," she says. "So if he wasn't going to be a Christmas baby everyone was rooting for a New Year's Baby."
"I didn't think it was going to happen, the chances of that are one in a million."
It was only after she went into labour on Monday afternoon that she knew he was going to be that “one-in-a-million.”
"I thought, yeah, it's going to be a New Year's baby."
Although, mom and dad are over the moon, there's one person who little Myles has to win over.
"My daughter (Rayna) is a little iffy on him, but she's younger," jokes Cassandra.
