Brockville's Railway Tunnel Light Show Previewed
Brockville's new and improved railway tunnel will be open for the public's viewing pleasure in under a month.
Canada's Oldest Railway Tunnel will officially re-open August 12th with a special ceremony.
Following the ceremony everyone will be allowed to go inside and experience the renovation and the light show provided by Dave Bouwers of Ford Electric in conjunction with world wide lighting experts Phillips.
Ford Electric is being credited with donating $300,000 for work on the tunnel lighting.
Adding everything up, the tunnel holds 728 four foot fixtures, and 35,000 lights total.
Yesterday (July 18th) media and guests got a glimpse of the tunnel and the committee paid tribute to the ones to both Bouwers and Phillips.
