Caiger's Resort to be Converted Into Rehab Facility
It appears Caiger's resort on the Thousand Islands Parkway will be used much differently in the future.
Leeds and Thousand Islands Council voted unanimously this week to allow an Ottawa-area businessman to buy the resort with the intention of converting it into a private rehab centre for the rich and famous.
Purchaser Chris Fagan plans to begin renovations as soon as the purchase is made final, with the goal of having the rehab centre open this spring or early summer.
