Canada Day Events in Brockville and Surrounding Area

1000 Islands Regatta:

1000 Islands Regatta opens Friday June 30th to Sunday July 2nd on Blockhouse Island, Brockville. 

Friday gates open at 5 pm with 54:40 the featured entertainment. 

Brockville’s own Healy and Orr are opening. Saturday – gates open at 10 am with Hydroplane races until 4:30 with live music from Tony Silvestri Band and Canada 150 fireworks at 10 pm. 

Sunday the Hydro Plane Races finale from 10 am – 4 pm. 

Redline and Ballad Fiasco open for Honeymoon Suite.

Straw-BEARy Festival:

Straw-BEAR-y Festival brings teddy bear fun & strawberries together, on July 1st @ Hardy Park, with various activities running from 10 am to 10 pm

There will be a Vendor Village, Silent Auction, and the Charity BBQ’s supporting local Autism families.

Live entertainment at the gazebo all day with Bourne to Rock playing right up to the fireworks.

Dress up ‘Canada Themed’ or your favourite hero/rock star and visit the special 150th photo booth on July 1st Hardy Park Brockville.

 

Texas Tux Duo Band:

They will be playing on Canada Day at the Brockville Legion, 180 Park St.  

Free admission. Public welcome.

The Lalonde Brothers give you an afternoon of music and dancing from 1-5pm in the lower lounge at the Brockville Legion.

At the end of the afternoons entertainment there will be a BBQ Pork chop meal available for $10.

 

Town of Prescott and 7th Prescott Scouting Canada Day BBQ:

Runs from 5 – 7:30  Saturday at Kelly’s Beach. 

Prescott Centennial Pool (parking at west entrance to Centennial Pool). 

Bring your own Lawn chair for the entertainment.

Car Show:

The St. Lawrence valley Car Club proudly presents their 30th annual car show on the grounds of Fort Wellington, Prescott Sunday July 2nd. 

Registration begins at 9 am. 

Vehicles will be judged beginning at noon.  Final awards will be held at 3 pm. 

10 classes – Best of Show – Mayors award – 150oth Canada Award. 

Car registration is $10. No charge for spectators.

Canada’s 150 Fireworks and Boat Poker Run:

Event gets underway on Sunday

 Registration starts at 8:30am at Charleston Village for the Boat Poker Run.

Cost $10/hand – you can purchase as many hands as you want. 

No Boat Required – a pontoon boat will take hands or players on the course. 

First come as the first boat leaves at 8:45 and the next at 10 am.

Poker hands read at noon. 

From 6 – 10 pm there’s entertainment at the main Dock with the G-Men. 

Fireworks at approximately 9:45 pm.
