CRCA Still Holding a Flood Watch For Two Lakes in the Area
Despite the fact we haven't received a large amount of rain recently, the CRCA has stated some watersheds in the area are still at risk of flooding.
Earlier this week the CRCA declared only two lakes inside the Gananoque and Cataraqui watersheds remain on a Flood Watch those being Charleston Lake and Buck Lake.
All other inland lakes are now part of a "Flood Outlook" which is a lower level on the warning status.
This status will remain in effect until August 16th.
However, if any significant rainfall is to occur in that time frame, the water levels throughout the system will likely increase and can push lake and stream levels back up into Flood Watch or Flood Warning status.

Dogs are man's best friend. These firefighters found that out first hand! Thanks, doggo!
