Flood Waters Close Blockhouse Island To Cars
The City of Brockville has closed Blockhouse Island to cars and trucks as the area continues to deal with rising flood waters.
Water has spilled into the road through the downtown area near the marina.
In a statement officials say the city's engineers are "concerned about the integrity of the road with vehicle traffic on it."
They will reopen when they feel it's safe.
