Grandparents Scam Making Rounds: Prescott OPP
Leeds OPP say that a grandparent scam is making the rounds.
They say a grandparent will get a frantic call or email, from a person claiming to be a grandchild, a friend, or a child.
The scammer will say that they are in legal trouble or have been injured overseas, and they need money right away.
OPP say if you get a call like this don't believe them, and to contact police.
Isn't this beautiful? True friendship between the King of the Jungle and a mere human.
This distant star will offer quite a show when it goes supernova.
Look at him, snoring like there's no tomorrow. Not a care in the world!
