A Brockville man is facing fraud charges in Kingston.
Kingston Police say they began investigating the incident back in May of 2013.
The 33-year-old convinced his former girlfriend to open a bank account in her name.
Police say he then began to write forged cheques and withdrawing cash, totalling over $4700.
After issuing an arrest warrant, the man was picked up by police on Saturday.
He has been charged with fraud, possession of stolen property, and forging documents.
