Local MPP Puts Pressure on Province to Expand Busy Kemptville Road
A petition with more than 300 signatures in support of expanding County Road 43 in Kemptville are now in the hands of the provincial government.
Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark tabled the petitions at Queen's Park yesterday (September 12th) to press the Wynne government to provide infrastructure funding necessary to expand the busy two-lane roadway to four lanes.
The petition was created earlier in the summer in response to the province's refusal to support the $30-million project which has been the United Counties top infrastructure priority for the last five years.
The government now has 24 sitting days to respond in writing to the petition.
This guy greatly underestimates the view angle of this camera. It's pretty funny watching him go!
Here's a bunch of people doing things no one should ever do. This video might make you really nervous!
United's back at it. We remember them for beating up a doctor who paid for his seat. Now, it's sticking dogs in overhead compartments. What's wrong with those guys?
