Man Jumps Into The St. Lawrence River, Shuts Ogdensburg Bridge
Police confirm the Prescott-Ogdensburg International Bridge was forced to shut on Thursday, after a 25-year-old man from Brampton jumped off the bridge.
Emergency crews were called to the bridge around 6:30pm, closing it to traffic on both sides of the border for a number of hours.
Multiple agencies, including the coast guard and Ogdensburg police looked for the man, but he wasn't found.
The investigation is on-going, and Ontario Provincial Police say they will continue their search Friday.
