A 78-year-old Augusta man lost his life after a fiery car crash this past weekend.

The incident occurred on Saturday (March 4th) when Melville Quinn was traveling eastbound  at King Street and Daytown Road.

It was somewhere around that point that his car overturned and caught fire. There were no other vehicles involved in the incident.

A post mortem is scheduled for a later date.
