MPP Steve Clark Lashes Out Over Carbon Tax
MPP Steve Clark is blasting the Wynne administration due to the effect her party's new carbon tax will have on his constituents.
Clark stressed the average 4.3 cents/L jump in fuel prices under the government’s $8-billion carbon tax grab will hit families in rural Ontario particularly hard.
He mentioned that a vehicle is not a luxury for residents in the area but a necessity to get to and from work, as public transit is not an option.
Yesterday (Janurary 3rd) in Brockville gas prices rose from 98 cents a litre up to $1.15.
