OPP Make Drug Bust at Mac Johnson Wildlife Area
OPP Officers made a drug bust close to nature yesterday (August 30th).
Officers were conducting a check of the Mac Johnson Wildlife area's southern entrance around 1am when they noticed a parked vehicle.
In the vehicle they found a man and a woman who were not only in breach of of their release conditions, but were also in possession of a quantity of illegal drugs.
Officers seized marijuana, magic mushrooms, methamphetamine pills and other pills that had yet to be identified.
As a result 22 year old Alani Fodey from Prescott and 29 year old Jason Witteveen from Edwardsburgh/Cardinal were arrested and charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking drugs.
Both suspects appeared at the Brockville Court yesterday (August 30th) for a bail hearing.
