Pair of Suspects Arrested on Charges of Child Pornography

A pair of local suspects were arrested on charges related to child pornography last week.

Officers charged a 29-year-old Brockville man with possession of child pornography after carrying out a search warrant at his home Thursday afternoon (March 2nd).

City police were notified of suspicious activity by The National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre after a man uploaded images using a specific chat app. The suspect's computer and computer equipment was confiscated as a result.

OPP officers also carried out a similar raid in Prescott, arresting a Prescott man on charges related to child pornography.

Police charged the 24 year old suspect with four counts of possession of child pornography and three counts of making child pornography available.
