Prescott Flyers Relocating to Cobden
There will be no more Jr B hockey in Prescott
Flyers owner Kevin Harrison officially sold the team to CCHL Pembroke Lumber Kings owner Dale McTavish.
The team will be relocating to Cobden a small community about 15 minutes south of Pembroke.
Harrison had started looking into selling the Flyers last year and specifically sought out buyers that would keep the team in Prescott, but he couldn't find any takers.
This change will represent a tough commute for Flyers players living in Prescott as Cobden is almost 2 hours away.
