Prescott Putting Social Housing Units on the Market

Prescott will be looking to make some extra cash off a number of social housing units in the area.

The Joint Services Committee of Leeds and Grenville has given the go ahead to sell nine public housing units in the town.

The units are all described as single family homes and would be sold only as the existing tenants leave.

The nine houses will add to six other Prescott properties that were declared surplus two years ago.

Three of those have already been sold.

The properties are expected to sell for $90,000 to $120,000
