Recent Survey Dictates Modest Increase in Hiring Forecast
According to a recent survey Brockville's employment sector will see a modest increase in hiring during the second quarter of 2017.
The staffing firm known as ManPower recently conducted their employment outlook survey and found that 10 per cent of Brockville and area employers plan to hire between April and June, while no employers in the area expect to make any staff cutbacks.
Big time Brockville employers such as Canarm, Northern Cables and Home Depot have all reported intentions to continue to hire through the upcoming quarter.
Manpower surveyed more than 1900 employers throughout the country, and discovered a similar trend on the national level which dictates small gains in the Canadian job market.
