St. Lawrence Beach Not Recommended For Swimming This Weekend
St. Lawrence Park is not recommended to swim in this weekend by the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit.
A caution level is released by the health unit latest bacterial tests of the water show unacceptable levels of bacteria.
The beaches are not closed but the health unit recommends avoiding the beach.
Other beaches under a caution warning are Riverside in Carleton Place, and Merrickville Beach in Merrickville.
All other beaches around Brockville, including Charleston Lake in Athens, and Kelly’s Beach in Prescott are open and cleared for swimming.
Nothing as glorious as your typical Hollywood blockbuster fight scene.
