Stay Off Ice Says Conservation Authority

The local conservation authority is warning of warmer temperatures over the next few days.

The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA) says with the mild temperatures in the forecast there is a risk of flooding in spots along water ways, and weaker ice conditions.

They advise to stay off the ice and use extra caution around rivers and creeks.

The weather is forecasted to be well above freezing starting Sunday, and 20-40 mm of rain falling from Monday into Wednesday next week.
