Environment Canada says the Ottawa region received more than 15 cm of snow over a 16-hour period between and 2:00 p.m. Sunday, and 6:00 a.m. Monday.

The dumping of snow has cause the cancellation of several school buses.

Buses for both the English and French schools of the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario and the Upper Canada District School Board have been cancelled so far.
