Murder charge laid in Clarence-Rockland shooting

Ontario Provincial Police say a first-degree murder charge has been laid following the death of a 75-year-old man in Clarence-Rockland.

Paul Jobin was found with gunshot wounds inside his home Tuesday, Nov. 6, and later died in hospital.

Police announced Thursday morning that Richard Fortin, a 73-year-old Clarence-Rockland man, is facing a first-degree murder charge.

Fortin will appear in a l'Orignal courtroom Nov. 13.
