No injuries in Arnprior apartment building fire

Emergency crews responded to a 911 call of a building fire on First Ave. in Arnprior Tuesday night. 

The Arnprior Fire Department arrived at the building at around 7:15 p.m. and were able to extinguish the fire. 

The building contains 12 units, two of which were vacant at the time they arrived. 

The fire is being deemed not suspicious in nature and no injuries are reported. 

Residents who were in need were relocated to hotels with the assistance of the OPP, VCARS (Victim Crisis Assistance Referral Services) and the Red Cross.
