'Non-critical' injuries reported after Orleans commercial fire
Ottawa Firefighters say there are reports of “non-critical” injuries after a fire in Orleans Saturday.
Crews were called to the commercial strip complex at 20-95 St. Joseph Boulevard around at 12:40 p.m. There they declared a two-alarm fire. The blaze was declared under control about an hour later, according to firefighters.
Damage estimates are in the seven figures with up to eight businesses affected.
St. Joseph was closed for several hours but has since re-opened.
