OPP seek witnesses to Queensway ‘road rage’ incident

Ontario Provincial Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed a pair of men arguing on the Queensway off-ramp at Terry Fox this past Saturday.

According to a press release, the OPP say a blue BMW car and a white Chevrolet Cruze were traveling westbound on Highway 417 between Moodie and Terry Fox, at around 7:20 p.m. Saturday, March 2, when both cars exited the Queensway.

The two male drivers got out of their cars on the Terry Fox off-ramp and “became involved in an altercation,” according to police.

The press release did not elaborate on the nature of the altercation, or whether anyone was injured. Police described the incident as a case of road rage.

Witnesses are asked to call Ottawa OPP at 613-270-9171 or 1-888-310-1122.
