Ottawa doctor accused of sexually assaulting patients
A 56-year-old family doctor in Ottawa has been charged with three counts of sexual assault involving patients.
Ottawa Police say Walid Alhoussan worked at a medical centre in the west end.
An investigation launched into allegations of sexual misconduct identified three possible female victims with reported incidents dating back to 2012.
In addition to the sex assault charges, Houssan also faces one count of sexual interference of a female under 16 and one count of sexual exploitation of a person with a disability.
Walid Alhoussan is listed on the staff page for the Sunrise Medical Clinic in the Loblaws on Merivale.
Calls to the clinic were forwarded to an answering service saying it is closed until next Tuesday.
