Ottawa Police searching for suspect after man with service dog randomly punched in the face

Ottawa Police are looking to identify a man in connection with an "unprovoked assault" in Bells Corners.

Police say it happened May 26 at around 9:30 p.m. at a restaurant on Robertson Road.

The victim was waiting with his service dog for his food order when he turned around and was punched in the face.

The suspect ran away. The victim had minor injuries.

Police describe the suspect as a white man in his 20s, about 5'9" with an athletic build. He has dark brown hair, was clean-shaven and was wearing jeans, a red t-shirt and a black hoodie.
