Playoff excitement in the capital (Watch)

 

 

The Senators' flag is flying at city hall, and the Sens Mile has been rededicated along Elgin Street, as the NHL playoffs get under way.

Mayor Jim Watson issued a Senators "All In" proclamation, urging residents to wear red on Senators game days during the playoffs.

Majic 100's Stuntman Stu, who usually does the announcements for the Senators at the Canadian Tire Centre, told the crowd he hopes to see the flag raised againt in June on the opposite side of City Hall, as Ottawa celebrates bringing the Stanley Cup home.

Game one of the first round of the playoffs goes Wednesday night, as the Senators host the Boston Bruins.
