Police seek downtown bank robber

The Ottawa Police are hoping you can help them identify a suspect in a downtown bank robbery.


According to police, a man walked into a bank on Bank Street near Queen Street on March 2nd at 1:55 p.m. and demanded cash.


He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank.


The suspect was last seen walking north on Bank Street near Sparks Street.


Police say he is white, between 40 and 50 years old. He was wearing a black toque, sunglasses, a beige sweater, light coloured jeans and sneakers at the time of the robbery.
