Rotating postal strikes return to eastern Ontario
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers says its rotating strikes have ended in eastern Ontario.
At 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, postal workers were off the job in Belleville, Cornwall, Kingston, Brockville, and Napanee.
CUPW says workers in those areas were back to work as of 8:00 a.m. Thursday.
CUPW and Canada Post have been unable to reach new collective agreements for the union's two bargaining units after 10 months of negotiations.
