School zone blitz catches speeders traveling well beyond limit
Ottawa Police say they caught some serious speeders as traffic officers set up in school zones today.
Blitzes were coordinated for the first day back from March Break.
Constable John Hall sent out a tweet this morning describing a vehicle clocked at 120 in a 50 zone.
The tweet was accompanied by a photo of the Delorean from "Back to the Future."
The vehicle was 14 miles per hour shy of the crucial 88 miles per hour.
Police also say they caught two other drivers going 89 in a 40.
A G2 driver was clocked at 127 in a 60.
