Suspects wanted in connection with MacLaren Street high rise homicide arrested in Toronto

Ottawa police say two people are in custody, charged in connection with a homicide investigation in Centretown.

19-year-old Ahmad Afrah was killed when he fell from a highrise apartment on MacLaren Street May 15th.

Police say 21-year-old Daniel Jean-Charles was arrested in Toronto and is now in Ottawa, facing manslaughter and aggravated assault charges.

A 16-year-old boy, also arrested in Toronto, is facing the same charges.

Both were being sought on a Canada-wide arrest warrant.

They join 29-year-old Liban Gure, and a 16-year-old girl as suspects in this case.
