Three charged following string of bank robberies

Three people have been arrested in connection with three bank robberies this week.

Ottawa Police say they happened Monday and Tuesday on Montreal Road, and on Wednesday on Pretoria Avenue.

In each case, two men wearing disguises entered the bank and used a note to demand cash.

In the Pretoria robbery, police say the suspects fled to a taxi which officers intercepted on the Vanier Parkway.

38-year-old Adam Maynard and 53-year-old Keith Sikala were taken into custody.

25-year-old Kaneesha Naveau was also arrested, charged with robbery in relation to the Wednesday incident.
