Three men arrested after shots fired in the south end of Ottawa

Three men have been arrested after shots were fired in the south end of Ottawa early Saturday morning. 

Officers responded to a call of shots fired from a vehicle in the area of Bank St. and Hunt Club Rd. at around 1:15 Saturday morning. 

The suspects were seen leaving the area in their vehicle to which officers proceeded to engage in pursuit. 

The vehicle was found abandoned on a side street 

A K9 unit helped to find the three men where officers then made the arrest. 

Noah HOPE, 23, Abdul HAJI RAGAB, 20 and Pranavan PARAPARAN, 24 , of Ottawa, have all been charged with multiple firearms related offences including Possess Loaded Firearm.

PARAPARAN was additionally charged with Failing to Stop for Police and Possess Firearm while Prohibited. 

HAJI RAGAB has also been charged with Discharge Firearm with Intent. 

The investigation is ongoing.
