15-year-old in stolen vehicle attempts to evade Hamilton Police
A 15-year-old male has been arrested by Hamilton Police after he attempted to flee in a stolen vehicle.
Shortly after 3:30 a.m. on July 11th, police noticed a suspicious vehicle while conducting a patrol in the area of St. Jean de Brebeuf Catholic Secondary School.
When they entered the parking lot, a male exited the 4-door sedan and ran behind the school to hide.
While searching for the male, the officers noticed another suspect get into the car which later crashed into a school portable.
Further investigation confirmed the vehicle was reported stolen the night before from a mountain residence.
With the assistance of K9 unit, police found the first male suspect hiding in some bushes.
The youth was arrested and charged with his bail opposed.
