Alectra Utilities reports 4% less electricity used during Earth Hour

Many people did.
Alectra Utilities reports a 6.4 percent drop in electricity use in St. Catharines between 8:30 and 9:30 Saturday night.
Hamilton saw a 4.2 percent drop.
