Alectra warns of texting scam
Alectra customers are being warned of a new scam making the rounds.
Some users have received a text message claiming they are have a refund available on their account that can be collected through interact.
This is a scam.
Customers who receive a suspicious text message should not open any links or provide any personal information.
Anyone who believes they are a victim of fraud or theft is encouraged to call the local police department to report the incident.
