Arrest in New Year's Eve robbery in Niagara Falls
Police arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with a New Year's Eve robbery in Niagara Falls.
Police were called to Fullerton Manor on Lundy's Lane for a report at about 7:30 p.m.
They say a man entered the hotel and violently assaulted the lone female clerk before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.
The victim received minor injuries.
Michael Clarke was charged with one count of robbery and two counts of failing to comply with probation.
Clarke will appear for a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
