Auditing firm withdrawing endorsement of CannTrust's 2018 financial statements
Auditing firm KPMG has withdrawn its endorsement of the 2018 financial statements of Ontario-based cannabis company CannTrust Holdings.
It's the latest fallout from recent revelations about illicit grow rooms at CannTrust's greenhouse in Pelham.
KPMG says the audited results can't be relied upon as accurate.
Since the scandal broke, CannTrust's shares have fallen more than 50 per cent and its C-E-O and the chairman of its board of directors have been ousted.
