B.C. Toddler dead after being left in a hot car
A toddler has died after being left in a hot vehicle during a spring heat wave in Burnaby, BC.
R-C-M-P say officers responded to a report of an unconscious 16-month-old in a car.
The child was transported to hospital and declared dead.
Police say initial information provided to officers was that the child had been left unaccompanied in the car for a number of hours.
The infant's father was located at the scene and both parents are co-operating in the investigation, and no arrests have been made.
