Beverly Hills plans to stub out cigarettes, cigars and e-cigarettes sales
Beverly Hills, California has become the first American city to end most tobacco sales.
City Council for the wealthy LA suburb unanimously voted Tuesday night to snuff out sales of cigarettes, cigars and e-cigarettes beginning in 2021.
The ban covers sales at gas stations, pharmacies, convenience and grocery stores, though exempts hotels and three plush cigar lounges.
